About me

Born on the Mornington Peninsula into a loving family, I was raised in a house full of encouragement and curiosity, where discussions about world issues and philosophy were the norm at the family dinner table and we, as children and young adults were not only invited to learn from but challenge the ideas of others according to our own beliefs and thoughts in an open and respectful way.

As my curiosity about the world and my love of art and creating grew so did my desire to travel and experience the world for myself.

My creativity and love for travel went hand in hand and I navigated my way through 25 countries observing many different cultures and destinations along the way.

After returning to Australia with my husband to start our own family,  my curiosity eventually turned inwards and led me on a journey of reflection dealing with questions of purpose and meaning. I sought ways to help our children navigate their way through life by encouraging them not 'just to fit in' but to thrive and live a life true to themselves.

I began collecting age-old pearls of wisdom and principles that have proven themselves time and time again to guide humanity through various challenges and serve as inspiration and motivation in times of need.

My work today reflects all of these interests encompassing themes of world issues, ancient philosophies, core principles and self reflection.

Above all the objective of my paintings is to serve as an encouraging reminder that to every problem there is a solution, all we need is a bit of hope and guidance from those that walked before us.
